| The United Methodist Women’s meeting will be held on the 3rd Monday each month at 3:00 pm, in the Fellowship Hall. All women are welcome to attend whether you are a current member or are interested in being part of our organization. If you are not a member and want to join or have any questions please contact Julie Kampmann. This year, instead of our annual “Shoes for the Soul” drive we will be collecting “Threads for Kids.” Bonita Springs Elementary School currently has plenty of shoes, but are in need of school uniform bottoms. The boys wear slacks and shorts and the girls wear slacks, shorts, skorts, and skirts. The bottoms need to be navy blue or khaki. Sizes 4-20 are acceptable, but sizes 4-12 are the most needed. Uniforms will be collected until April 17th. Uniforms can be dropped off at the church office, brought to church on Sundays and given to Julie Kampmann. If ordering online, can be sent directly to Julie Kampmann(home address is in the church directory). We will accept monetary donations to the threads for kids collection and we will do the shopping. Checks payable to “UMW” and cash donations can be given to Julie Kampmann or Ruthann Etzkorn. This is a wonderful way to serve God by serving others! |
