November 27 Message From Pastor Jason

As I sit here at church this Friday afternoon, my heart is warmed by the many volunteers who are here bringing this church to life. Christmas music is being practicing by the chorale music choir (Our concert here is on Dec 12th at 3pm), decorating throughout the entire campus is bringing a visual joy to what this season holds. The Children are running around with a holiday cheer and excitement. Advent is one of the best times of year as we prepare for the coming king, the Messiah, Jesus the Christ.

This week the Lane’s will be lighting our first Advent candle – the candle of Hope. It is fitting we are in such a time as this where God has made it fit together so perfectly. Through God’s abundance of Hope, we all have a future in God’s story. Join us this Sunday as we talk about the Hope that God has in each one of you. As we continue our Season of Hope and Healing, we start the season of Advent with the Hope that God has provided. It will be a foreshadowing of the Christmas that will soon be upon us. Who will you share this special time of year with?

May the God of Hope, peace, Joy and Love prevail over all you do this week. I pray and hope that you all are continuing to reach out to people in your lives and spread the hope that we have here in Jesus. Join us as we start the Christmas season and bring someone with you this Sunday at 10am. Afterwards we will be celebrating with our Newly decorated indoor/outdoor coffee time brought to you by the UMW. God Bless you all abundantly!
Blessings, Jason.
